Linear items drawer

Linear sits next to hosted review providers in the task drawer. Browse, create, update, and link Linear issues to worktrees the same way you link GitHub issues.

Setup

  1. Open Settings → Integrations → Linear.
  2. Paste a personal API token.
  3. Pick the team(s) you want to see.

Using Linear

  • The task drawer shows GitHub and Linear issues in one combined view.
  • Creating a worktree from a Linear issue pre-fills the name and attaches the issue ID. The Linear issue key is included in the workspace name when one is available, so you don't have to retype it.
  • Open an issue detail view to update fields such as status, assignee, priority, labels, and estimate. Priority renders with Linear's own priority icons so the drawer matches what you see in Linear itself.
  • Long lists paginate with a Load more action — useful when a project has more issues than fit in the initial drawer.
  • Orca remembers your last-used task source (GitHub, Linear, or Jira) per repo.

Create a Linear project

You can create a Linear project without leaving Orca. Switch the Linear drawer to Projects mode, deselect any selected project, and click the + button in the tasks header — Orca opens a New Project dialog where you set the team, name, lead, members, labels, priority, and dates, then submits the project to Linear via API.
