What makes an ADE
IDEs were built for you. An ADE is built for you and your agents — worktrees, terminals, browser, and CLI in one app.

Every task runs in its own isolated git worktree — no stashing, no branch juggling. Fan one prompt across 5 agents, compare, merge the winner.

WebGL rendering, infinite splits, scrollback restored on restart, full scrollback search.
Live activity dots, agent-finished notifications, unread markers, free-text checkpoints via the Orca CLI. Stop babysitting terminals.

Claude Code, Codex, Cursor CLI, Gemini, Copilot, OpenCode, Pi — preconfigured. Any other CLI agent drops right in.

A real Chromium window per worktree. Click any UI element to send its HTML, CSS, and a cropped screenshot into your agent.

Run agents on a beefy remote box with full file editing, git, and terminals. Auto-reconnect, port forwarding, passphrase caching.

VS Code’s editor, autosave everywhere, quick-open with hidden files, drag-drop files or Finder images into an agent prompt.

Drop markdown comments on any diff line, batch them, ship them back to the agent. Inspect CI, resolve conflicts, open PRs — all in-app.

Agents drive Orca too: orca worktree create, snapshot, click, fill.

Cmd-J jumps across worktrees, Cmd-P opens files, every shortcut is remappable. Move at the speed of your fingers.

See Claude and Codex usage, rate-limit resets, and hot-swap Codex accounts without re-logging in.

Preview everything your repo carries: PDFs, image diff modes, CSV tables, wiki-linked Markdown with search.

ADE vs IDE
Traditional IDEs weren’t built for agents. Parallel-agent wrappers stop at a terminal. Orca is the whole environment.
Everything you need to know about Orca, worktrees, and the recent feature velocity behind the app.

Encima usarlo dentro de @orca_build es top Show more

I've been working with @orca_build's agent IDE and I've been really liking it Pros: - Orca's main view is a ghostty-like terminal so you get split panes + responsive - This also means you can use any AI model/harness (e.g. Claude Code, Codex, Pi, etc.) - Agent worskpaces with Show more
Few days deep into @orca_build and I'm sold. Parallel sessions. codex / opencode / cursor per project. And now SSH into a remote box to manage every agent from one window. Agent orchestration done right. 🐳
Finally an IDE that treats PR review as a first-class workflow!
im a cursor maxi but @orca_build is insanely good
My first contribution to @orca_build is live! 🚀 (v1.3.21) Seamless #Ghostty integration: ✅ Config imports ✅ Live preview for flow ✅ Colors, opacity & blur support DX is in the details that make us feel at home. 🛠️ github.com/stablyai/orca/…
Brother, ¡¡¡GRACIAS!!! Extraordinaria recomendación. Orca está demasiado brutal. Soy otro que también pasó por Warp y por Ghostty y que encontré el lugar para mis desarrollos, no sólo agéntico. Estoy que grabo un video para que todo el mundo lo conozca. 😄 Gracias a Show more
Build an HQ site for Hermes with GLM5.1 connected with Hermes and then Claude Opus 4.6 as the auditor. Currently using Antigravity as the IDE but there's an opensource one @orca_build that caught my attention! (first time using an IDE lol)
Justo por eso regresé a @orca_build 💎 Nice but no
No joke... I filed my tax this year using this
Love the community shoutout🔷 And we’ve been shipping even more—now your agent can control your browser inside Orca IDE. Enable it via Settings → Orca Browser Use Orca builders are about to move even faster 🚀 github.com/stablyai/orca
